How do I get to El Nido and the best time to visit

El Nido is a municipality located in the province of Palawan in the Philippines. It is known for its white-sand beaches, coral reefs, and limestone cliffs. It is also home to various marine life such as dugongs and manta rays.

Getting to El Nido is possible through several transportation options. You can take direct flights from Manila to El Nido airport or from Puerto Princesa with a van or bus transfer. Ferry services are also available from Coron.

The best time to visit El Nido is during the dry season which is from November to May. The months with the lowest number of tourists are June, July, September and October while the months with high numbers of tourists are January, February, March, April and November.

There are several ways to get to Nacpan Beach from El Nido town proper. You can either take the shuttle service that goes to Nacpan Beach, hire a tricycle to take you there, or you can hire a scooter and drive to the beach. Prior to the pandemic, the shuttle service costs Php 600 per person.
